Dear St. Isidore, you who were a humble and hard-working farmer, we ask for your intercession and your guidance. Please help us to follow your example of faith and dedication, and to always seek the will of God in all that we do. Please watch over us and protect us as we work and as we serve others, and give us the strength and the courage to face the challenges of life with grace and determination. We pray that you will inspire us to work hard and to serve others selflessly, and that you will help us to find joy and meaning in the work that we do. We ask these things in your holy name, Amen.

"An agricultural country which consumes its own food is a finer thing than an industrial country, which at best can only consume its own smoke." Chesterton.

"The land belongs to those who work it." Zapata.
